Hitty Six Finished.

Our person has been busy carving Hittys over the last couple of weeks.  Number four ended up being the fifth carving finished and a special Hitty became number four as she was finished first.   Hitty four can't be shown yet as she is on her way to the USA as part of the Hitty Girls 'Carve a Hitty and dress as a Witch Swap'

Hitty Five, is a bit shy....actually she can't be shown yet as she is wearing a similar outfit to that of Hitty Four who is off to the USA.

But Hitty Six, is quite happy  to show her progress and finished photos.

Some more shaping in the face needed.

But she is getting there.

Taking a stroll

Rounded out the head a bit more.

In the buff!

She wanted blue and red striped stockings.

She wanted to wear a 'witches' cape and hat, so I made her one.  Her bloomers are made from the same fabric as her dress.

She seems to be looking a little worried in this photo.

Showing off her dress.

Her bloomers!

Hitty Six now has a name as well....she is Hitty Morag.

Ten Dresses Completed!

Yeah the last four dresses were finished today so all us girls are equipped with a new Autumn/Winter dress.

First up we have Hitty Scary modelling her new dress.

Hitty June chose this blue dress.

Hitty Joyful like the Oak drress as she said it match her bead necklace

Lastly Hitty Carol Faith decided on the lighter tan/brown dress.

The four girls in their new dresses.

Hitty Carol Faith and Hitty Scary are enjoying a quiet chat beside the fire.

Hitty June and Hitty Joyful are pretending they are doing a fashion parade.

Hitty Mary Jean is very excited about what Hitty Granny Estelle has planned for dinner and claps her hands in glee.

Hitty Moana comes over for a chat.

Whilst upstairs Hitty Ethel is planning to make a shirt for Miles to keep him warm this winter.

Hitty Annabelle is chatting to the children.  Hitty Madge stops by to have a chat to me while I type up our daily doings.

The making of the Civil War print dresses.

The sewing machine has been busy, six dresses have been made up from the Civil War fabrics.

Five of us are modelling them, Hitty Madge has the sixth dress on, but is out for a walk.

From left to right we are:

Hitty Mary Jean, who is up to some mischief with hand behind Hitty Annabelle's head.  Hitty Moana who always looks quite regal in whatever she wears.  Hitty Ethel, and of course myself Hitty Patience.

Hitty Mary Jean waves hello.  she is waiting on her red pearl necklace as she says it will 'match her shoes'.

The most beautiful Hitty Moana

Myself.

Hitty Annabelle and Hitty Ethel said they were tired and needed to sit down....and would have their individual photo shoots done in the morning.

In the morning there is lots of animated discussion going on, led by Hitty Mary Jean.

We are trying to work out how many more dresses need to be made...

Hitty Madge comes over to see what it is all about.

We are trying to work out how many more dresses need to be made... we have four different Civil War fabrics left.  Hitty Joyful needs a dress, as does Hitty June.  Hitty Scary said she would like one as well, and of course there is also Hitty Carol Faith...so it looks like we have enough fabric!

In the meantime...we manage to get Hitty Annabelle & Hitty Ethel to pose for their individual photo.

Jointed Hitty finally painted.

Our jointed Hitty girl has just been painted and come to life...it turns out she is quite a character, having sat there quietly for the last few months just waiting....

She insisted on red shoes...

..and has a little giggle

and said it is rather chilly...

so is waiting patiently for some clothes.
