Unfortunately there wasn't enough of the blue fabric to make a dress, although there was enough to make an apron...which of course led to finding another print for the reverse side. Hittys at Rose Cottage do like their reversible aprons! That then led to finding some more fabric with which to make a dress that could be worn underneath the apron. Once that was done, it just seemed natural to sit and knit a shawl and hat to go with the new outfit to add some variety.

So after five years of wearing the same outfit, in just a week her wardrobe more than doubled!
Little Hitty Morag seems very quietly pleased...she must have been wishing for a change of clothes! Lucky girl, I think she and Madge will have fun together.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stylish outfit. Even the apron is fashionable.
