It has taken almost a year...

Last March we took part in the Hitty Easter Bonnet Swap and were delighted to also receive some fabric from Penny.  Well it has taken almost a year, but a little dress has finally been made with it.

Typing lists....

Hitty Madge has been busy in the loft room using the typewriter.

It seems she has been very industrious and has been typing herself a list or two.

It seems Hitty Granny Estelle has a travelling trunk that she arrived with and has offered it to Hitty Madge for her holiday if it is suitable.

Hitty Madge is thrilled to be offered such a wonderful trunk, although does wonder if she will be able to fit all her clothes in it!

The Travel Journal of Hitty Madge

One of the things Hitty Madge must do as the travel Hitty is to keep a Travel Journal.  Our person saw just the right one the other day.

A Dozen Roses for Hitty Madge

Hitty Madge and Hitty Moana had a little outing today and pose for their 'Red Hot' photograph in front of the red cyclamen.

Hitty Madge has decided to join in with a friend and make (or rather get our person to make) a dozen rose dresses for Valentines Day

Knitted Surprise Jacket & New Dress & Bonnet

Our person tried out a new pattern last night using the fabulous little Koigu Mini Skeins that were sent as a gift.  She had been wondering what to use them for and thought they would be perfect for this project.  Three skeins were used and the pattern was an adaptation from Elizabeth Zimmernann's Baby Surprise Jacket.

This knitted up beautifully and our person is pretty pleased with it.

As is Hitty Madge.  Of course we are all now lined up hoping for one!

Yet more dresses for Hitty Madge!

Hitty Madge's wardrobe is steadily growing and today our person finished knitting this adaptation of  a 1957 Workbasket Knitted Dress pattern.

It was made a bit longer than the yellow knitted dress  and so this suits her a bit better.
