Painting Hitty Patience

Well I must say I was very surprised yesterday when I was told that I was going to be painted and given some facial features.  I was under the impression I would have to wait a long time, but really it wasn't so long to wait after all.  I inspected the paints and brushes my person had bought in order to begin the task.

Gosh, are those all really needed for me?    Of course I wasn't quite prepared for the shock that had to come...

Oh dear....fortunately I wasn't aware of the dismantling that had to take place for the 'treatment' to begin.

The treatment consisted of various stages...

I was rubbed down, painted with a matt varnish.

Once dried various colours were used individually and then left to dry.

Black was first, followed by white and then red for my lips and around the top of my stockings for garters.

Once everything had been painted and had dried I was then given another coat of matt varnish.

Here I am, fully finished although slightly embarrassed...fortunately I didn't need to stay this way for long as my person had made me a lovely new dress especially for my transformation!

It fits lovely and I am very pleased with it.

I was even given a little half apron to keep it clean and tidy with a large pocket on the front for me to put bits and pieces I might need in.

Not only that but while my person was out shopping the other day she came across three pieces of furniture she thought might suit me, all for the grand price of £1.99!

Just look at these...a little cupboard, a dresser and a little coffee table.

What a treat, I certainly didn't expect anything quite as quickly as this!  Now to find some little treasures to fill the shelves with.

It is such a lovely day out there today, I think I will go and spend some time dead heading the roses.
